Megan Vanstone is the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency’s Director of Research Development & Strategy and assumed the role of Scientific Director for Healthy Future Sask in 2025. She received her Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Honours in Biology at Carleton University and her Master of Science (M.Sc) in Biochemistry with a Specialization in Human Genetics from the University of Ottawa. Megan began her career focusing on human genetics and rare disease, working with the Care4Rare Canada Consortium and gaining expertise for supporting patient biobanks and registries. Megan’s expertise has since expanded to more general research administration and strategic planning/oversight of research within the healthcare system.
