Marilla Hulls
Master of Public Health, Epidemiology, Practicum Student | she/her

Marilla graduated from Dalhousie University in 2024 with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. She is now in her first year of a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto. Her research interests lie at the intersection of neuroscience and public health, with a focus on using survey data to support population health. She is particularly interested in how large-scale cohort studies can address population-level questions to improve health outcomes for all Canadians.
This summer, Marilla is excited to join the CanPath team to deepen her understanding of longitudinal cohort studies. She looks forward to expanding her data analysis skills while exploring a new research interest—investigating breast cancer survivorship and identifying modifiable risk factors.
