Joy is currently completing her first year of the Master of Public Health in Epidemiology program at the University of Toronto, and graduated from the University of Waterloo where she studied Health Sciences with a minor in Addictions, Mental Health and Policy. Her research interests are in non-communicable disease epidemiology and chronic disease management, as well as how data driven strategies can be applied to improving health outcomes. She is super excited to be a part of the CanPath team this summer, and is hoping to learn more about the intricacies of large real-world datasets, and how to meaningfully communicate health information with diverse audiences.
