A methodologic framework to evaluate the number of cancers attributable to lifestyle and environment in Alberta
L’équipe souhaitait concevoir un moyen d’estimer le nombre de cancers incidents qui pourraient être attribués à des facteurs pouvant être variés ou modifiés dans la vie d’une personne. Elle a examiné 24 facteurs de risque de cancer et utilisé des estimations pour quantifier l’exposition. À l’aide de ces données, il est possible de trouver des moyens de changer le mode de vie et de réduire le risque d’incidence du cancer.
Design, methods and demographics from phase I of Alberta's Tomorrow Project cohort: a prospective cohort profile
Cet article décrit la phase I du projet ATP, qui examine les facteurs influant sur le cancer et d’autres maladies.
